Which Boiler Should I Choose?
There are three main types of high-efficiency condensing boiler- the combination or 'Combi', the system boiler and the regular boiler. Regardless of the type of boiler chosen you can rest assured of the benefits of high-efficiency technology, but each are designed for different types of homes.
'Combi' Boiler
Combination or 'combi' boilers heat your home and provide instant hot water without the need for a tank. Combi boilers are an increasingly popular choice with our customers.
System Boiler
System boilers also use stored water which allows them to feed several hot water taps at a time, and are thus more suitable for larger homes

Regular Boiler
Regular boilers are suitable for homes with a traditional heating and hot water system. Unlike a combi, regular boilers require a separate hot water tank to store the water, and this is should be taken into account particularly if you have several bathrooms in your home.
Regular boilers usually require more space than either combi or system boilers. |
Does the size of boiler make a difference?
Selecting the correct sizing of a boiler means it will run at higher efficiency, with lower running costs and reduced carbon emissions.
