About Us

Founded in 1996, Safegas has over 15 years experience in central heating installation, repair and maintenance. Safegas is now the north of England’s largest independent maintenance provider to private households.

And now, our experience in energy management and heating systems has now been extended to include solar power and renewable energy services with the introduction of our renewable energy division, SafeSolar.

Safegas were originally located in Leeds. However, due to the growth of the company we relocated to Gemini House on the Sandbeck Industrial Estate in Wetherby in March 2008.  This relocation gave the Company additional space to expand into the renewable energy sector and commercial markets.  The building was officially opened by Colin Burgon, MP for Elmet in September 2008.

Our building incorporates the latest Worcester Bosch energy efficient heating system along with a solar hot water system which generates all the hot water to the offices.

All our staff are directly employed by Safegas, we do not sub-contract, ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous same day or next day service even in the middle of winter.
